VerseBattles Lite is an offline Bible verse game. We do not collect, transmit, sell, or share any personal data. There are no accounts, no sign-in, no advertising, no analytics, and no tracking. Everything the game needs is bundled inside the app, and the app works fully with no internet connection.
VerseBattles Lite is developed and published by Michael Fackerell ("we", "us"). This policy applies to the VerseBattles Lite Android application distributed on Google Play, and to no other product or service.

We collect no personal data whatsoever. Specifically, the app does not collect, request, or have access to:
There is no user account system, no login, no cloud save, and no synchronisation. Because no data is collected, we also have no data to sell, rent, trade, or disclose to advertisers, data brokers, or any other third party.
The app saves your game state locally on your own device so that your progress persists between sessions. This information never leaves your device and is not accessible to us. It includes:
This data is stored in the app's private storage area. It is deleted automatically when you uninstall the app, or when you clear the app's data through your device's Settings → Apps → VerseBattles Lite → Storage → Clear data. We cannot retrieve it for you, because we never receive it.
In Learn mode, the app can read Bible verses aloud. It does this using the text-to-speech engine already built into your device (for example the speech service provided by your phone's manufacturer or by Google). The verse text is passed directly to that on-device engine so it can be spoken; it is not sent to us or to any server we operate.
Your device's built-in speech engine is provided by your device manufacturer or operating system vendor and is governed by their privacy policy, not this one. Some devices download voice data through that vendor's own services. If no usable voice is installed, the app simply stays silent and continues to work normally — voice is always optional.
The app is designed and built to work with no network connection. It does not transmit any data about you or your device automatically, and it makes no background network requests.
The app does include a single optional, tap-only link: "Play the Full Version", in the main menu. If — and only if — you tap it, the app asks your device to open https://versebattles.com in your device's web browser. At that moment:
The app declares the standard Android network permission because the WebView container needs it to open that single external web address. It is not used to collect or transmit your data. If you never tap "Play the Full Version", the app requires no network access at all.
There is none, of any kind.
The app is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children or from anyone else — because we do not collect personal information at all. There is no account creation, no chat, no user-generated content, and no way for a child to submit personal information through the app. Parents and guardians may contact us at the address above with any question or concern.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, port, or restrict processing of your personal data, and to object to its sale or sharing. Because we collect no personal data and share none, there is no personal data held by us to access, correct, export, or delete, and we have never sold or shared personal data.
You remain in full control of the local game data on your device and can erase all of it at any time by uninstalling the app or clearing its data in your device settings. If you believe we hold data about you, contact us and we will investigate and respond.
We hold no personal data, so there is no server-side database to breach and no retention period to describe. Local game data persists only on your device, only until you remove it, and is protected by your device's own security and encryption.

We do not integrate advertising, analytics, attribution, or social-media services.
If this policy changes — for example, if a future version of the app adds a feature that involves data — we will update this page and revise the "Last updated" date above, and we will update the app's Google Play Data safety declaration to match. Material changes will be disclosed in the app's release notes.
